Questions

I was reading in John the other morning, at the point where Jesus’ disciples were encouraging Him to go to the Passover feast, and they basically said, “no one who wants to be famous would miss this feast….  come on!”   Jesus replied, “the time for me to go has not yet come.”  And then shortly after they left, he left as well.

Was he tired of being misunderstood?  Tired of their company?  Didn’t he trust them enough to tell them why he intended to go in secret?  Did THEY not trust HIM enough to hang with him until the time HAD come?  Why would they be leaving Jesus to fulfill the “Law” when the “Word” was with them?

These were men who walked and talked daily with Jesus.  Why is is that we living in 2008 think we have Jesus figured out to ANY degree?

So why did I name the site FREEDOM, Guns and Jesus?  Who knows.  It shows up in the search engines really well, but as Jesus becomes more important to me, guns become less important.  Freedom is ultimately important, but moreso in the spiritual sense than in the physical.

Interesting thing is that we can have spiritual freedom without necessarily having physical freedom.  They are both important to me though, to the point that I’d still give my physical life for either or both.
