Wow.  The journey continues, and it’s getting exciting.

“A few months back, I prayed that I would someday be able to walk in freedom, above and throughout all of life’s systems….  “

Physically:  The Lord has led me to many different natural or non-prescription substances over the years.  The term SEASONS still applies here, because as we stay “in Him” he is faithful to bring us what we need.

Emotionally:  My wife and I have entered into a new era of unity.  We move in the same direction in purpose, with our children, in prayer, and she is the safe haven I come home to whenever life takes the wind out of my sails.  I have turned a page and decided to be positive, to speak positive, and to remove negative influences from my life, unless they are part of a ministry that God has asked me to participate in.  Major influences have been: 1. a book called “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”.  2. the movie “The Secret” (too bad they don’t understand Jehovah as the source who created the universe and ALL of it’s laws).  and 3. audio by Jim Rohn, who is a brilliant motivational speaker who teaches people wealth principals.

Spiritually:  I have a new-found hunger for the Word and for prayer.  I actually get up close to 5am almost every morning to spend the first hour or more seeking the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind.

I have listened to and read material explaining the New Testament church.  Understanding the truth about how we are to interact with each other spiritually brings Freedom from misguided authority, and allows us to function as a body of believers who ARE the church.  Reading “Pagen Church” and “Reimagining Church” by Frank Viola brings many challenges, and if not careful, can set your heart and mind in a questioning and judgemental state that can destroy your relationship with “church” as you know it.  HOWEVER.  Since “BOTH” has become a major core value rather than “either/or” there is much to be accomplished in the local church, especially one that allows you to serve, minister and ask questions that move folks closer to the truth, rather than maintaining the status quo.  I hope I am never called to speak out against the “church” as an organization, but I know I am called to minister primarily outside any organized religion, and with only what Jesus and the Apostles left us as a model as the foundation for Christian fellowship.

Financially:  I have been having an uncanny amount of “divine appointments”.  You know, where you meet like-minded folks, or people with the skills, talents or abilities you need to move to the next level.  With so much going on in the other areas of my life, I can only assume that financial breakthrough is coming soon.  I have been praying (and thanking my timeless God) for a “breakthrough-annointing” that will not only set me financially free, but will enable me to help others become free from the slavery of debt and stinking-thinking that causes us all to expend so much of the substance of life on the pursuit of money so that we can pay the next bill.  (A very sad way to live, and I’ve had enough!)

So the heck with all the negative reports.  I gave up on the news, on talk radio, and even stopped watching the weather reports, as I learn that God’s economy is sound, his provision is more than adequate, and His way of doing life works… and doesn’t require any government studies or intervention.

I ask myself why we as humans are motivated to help others learn what we know.  I can only figure that it’s because we are made in our Father’s image, and He came down to show us what he knows, and how to live according to His universal laws.

So I take each day in faith that He will provide the means to fulfill the callings that have been born in me.
